Let’s return to Nesvizh to see the map of the town at the outbreak of World War II. In about the middle of the map from right to left, there are the Radzivil Castle (shape of a box), Farny Church (crucifix), Slutsk Gate, Town Hall, Castle Gate Tower and Benedictine Monastery (crucifix). You might be able to spot some of the 8 synagogues and Jewish cemetery (Star of David) above the Monastery. |
