TTwo months after the German troops defeated the Russian army in Nesvizh, a contingent of the SS Einsatzgruppen burst into the village and began a reign of terror and savagery. Aharon Levin was among the first murdered for performing a bris, a ritual circumcision.  And as a punishment against the whole Jewish community of Nesvizh, a fine of half million rubles and two and one-half kilograms of gold was imposed.             

The Germans desecrated the Jewish cemetery.
