Nesvizh  Resisters

This presentation led to a correspondence with Shalom Cholawski who lives in Israel.  Even before I received my first reply from him, he passed my letter to another Nesvizher who was a close friend of my cousin Pini.  Pini’s friend wrote to me and gave me the names of two more friends of Pini.  We exchanged letters and I still maintain contact with them.  Each friend thoughtfully shared with me inscribed precious pictures of my cousin, which they treasured since 1938.

Shalom Cholawski is pictured together with other Nesvizh partisan fighters of the resistance.  There were 128 Jewish partisan units fighting against the Germans and their collaborators.
