What Remains of the Shtetl Today? |
The Jewish souls and their culture developed over hundreds of years are no longer. Now there is a monument on the Radzivil estate dedicated by the Soviet Government to 1,500 Soviet fallen comrades. But there is no mention that they were Jews. A recent visitors’ guidebook to Nesvizh alludes to the town’s hard times and enormous sufferings with one word: “1941.” But there is no mention of the Holocaust. |
